RE-AIM is a systematic way for researchers, practitioners, and policy decision
makers to evaluate health behavior interventions. Ultimately, it can be used
to estimate the potential impact of interventions on public health.
Bulletins
- Leading the Way to Healthy Places: Community Youth Development
This bulletin relates the importance of youth development and of measuring
the outcomes of programs, describes critical elements of a healthy place, and
asserts the value of leadership and collaboration.
- OPEN-K: Opportunities for Prevention Education and Networking in Kansas
This bulletin describes the purpose of OPEN-K (the nationally recognized Children,
Youth and Families At-risk grant from USDA) and elaborates upon its objectives
of 1) improving the quality and quantity of community-based programs that prevent
youths from engaging in risky behaviors and 2) improving the capacity of K-State
Research and Extension to implement-with community-based and state partner
organizations--effective prevention and early intervention programs for vulnerable
children, youths, and their families.
